FAUX FINISHING: 3D PRINTED CORAL FOR AUTODESK AND WIRED

Faux finish on 3D printed coral model for Autodesk and WIRED magazine.

Concept Realizations was hired by Autodesk to faux finish a 3D print of coral for a WIRED magazine photoshoot and story on marine biologists’ use of photogrammetry software to survey and 3D model endangered coral reefs.

We used the digital, photoscanned 3D model as a color reference for the hand-painted finish.
