BRONZE REPLICA OF relief

Tactile exhibit at Independence National Park.

Concept Realizations, LLC was commissioned to design and fabricate a replica in bronze of the stone “Allegory” relief that hangs over the entrance to the historic First Bank of the United States, at Independence National Park in Philadelphia.

The bronze replica depicts the Roman god Mercury and other allusions to commerce and industry. It is intended as a universal access solution, allowing blind visitors to read its features by touch, and includes integral bronze Braille.

It is installed in the newly renovated Benjamin Rush Garden.
